Insert bearings are based on sealed deep groove ball bearings in the 62 and 63 series. Insert bearings typically have a sphere (convex) outside surface and an extended inner ring with different locking devices to enable quick and easy mounting onto the shaft. Both sides of the bearing have seals which are made of synthetic rubber oil seal and oil ring. Depending on the type, there are several ways to fix the inner ring:
1. Fixing the inner ring on the shaft with two lock screw
2. The inner ring is tapered bore, fixing the inner ring on the shaft with adapter sleeve
3. Fixing the inner ring on the shaft with eccentric sleeve
